2010 CHEO Telethon Presentation
The Prestigious Pedigreed Seed Sale is a Farm Show Fund Raiser. Top quality seed is donated for auction at the sale, and for the past ten years, featured agricultural art items have also been donated for the sale.

Proceeds from the Seed Sale are donated to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). Many of the seed purchases at the sale are donated to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank. The presentation to CHEO is made on the annual Telethon, held this year at the National War Museum in Ottawa.  Since its inception, the Prestigious Pedigreed Seed Sale has raised close to one hundred thousand dollars for CHEO.

are now approaching a total of one hundred thousand dollars.
Everyone working on the telethon - on air hosts, technical and production teams, telephone specialists, hundreds of people in all, management and union alike - are volunteers working on a cause they believe in. And they keep on volunteering their time and skills year after year after year.
Max Keeping and Carol Ann Meehan anchor the broadcast, and are joined by special guests and broadcasters from CTV Ottawa and other Ottawa Valley radio and television stations. JJ Clarke is shown in the photo on the right.
