| The Prestigious Pedigreed Seed Sale is a Thursday event held in the Court of Honour. Bags of Top Grade Seed and other items are auctioned off and all proceeds from the sale are donated to charity. |

| Lynda McCuaig presented a $5,000 cheque on behalf of the Ottawa Valley Seed Growers to the 2008 CHEO Telethon on Saturday evening, May 31 at 8:24 pm. The money was raised through the Seed Sale. |
