On Saturday, September 11, 2004, Renfrew Fair hosted the Ontario Mark of Excellence Show for the Hereford breed.  Fifty three prime aniamls were presented to Doctor Bryan Hicks, Arthur, Ontario for judging.

Glen-Vu farms, Jim & Pat Brass of Arnprior won three of the six banners of excellence, for Champion and Reserve Champion female, and Premier Breeder.

Bar J-M, John Mastine of Whitney, went home with the  banner for the Premier Exhibitor. 

Mack & Lois James, Spring Valley Farms, took the banner for Champion Bull, while Larry Delgreco, Sandtown Herefords of Newington won the honors for Reserve Champion Bull.

Breeders Herd was won by Glen-Vu Farms, Jim & Pat Brass, Arnprior. 

Get of Sire was won by Spring Valley Farms, Mack & Lois James, Carleton Place. 

Progeny of Dam was won by Glen-Vu Farms, Jim & Pat Brass, Arnprior.
