Ottawa Valley Seed Growers honorary director Fred Ritchie, with wife Robena, was recognized with a cake for 45 years of service. At 84, Fred is retiring and moving to Brooklin, Ontario, to be close to family.

There were two special events at the November 24th meeting of theOttawa Valley Seed Growers Board of Directors. A cheque for $20,000 was presented to Kemptville College Foundation, and  retiring Ottawa Valley Seed Growers honorary director Fred Ritchie was recognized with a cake for 45 years of service.
