75TH ANNIVERSARY SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Tuesday, March 19, 9 am-5 pm:

* EBI Dairy Heifer display all day in the Sprung Structure.
* MTO information booth all day in Sprung.
* CKBY reporting live for HighPoint Farm from Sprung, afternoon.
* Guess the Weight of the Bull, sponsored by Ontario Farmer.
* 2002 championship seed winners on display, Aberdeen Pavilion.
* Stained glass artist Nancy Schroeder all day in Aberdeen.
* Derek Robertson Jazz Band throughout the show in the afternoon.
* Live old-time country music, dining hall, over lunch (full meals available).
* Women's Institute Tea Room, Civic Centre salons.
* New this year: Machinery exhibits, arena floor.
* BASF draw of PUG Wilderness ATV, Arena.
* 11:30 am: Official opening with Jack Wilkinson, president, Ontario Federation of Agriculture, Aberdeen. Coffee and cake, compliments of Vogel Seeds.
* 1 pm: Annual Simmental Sale, Sprung.
* 7 pm: Annual Seed Growers Awards Banquet, dining hall. Guest speaker: Eugene Whelan, retired Canadian senator and former federal agriculture minister.

Wednesday, March 20, 9 am-9 pm:

* EBI display, MTO booth, guess weight contest, seed winners, stained glass, jazz band, old time music, full meals, tea room, machinery in arena, BASF draw.
* Daily news bulletin sponsored by Eastern Ontario AgriNews.
* 1 pm: Annual Limousin Sale, Sprung.

Thursday, March 21, 9 am-4 pm:

* News bulletin, EBI display, MTO booth, guess weight contest winner, seed winners, stained glass, jazz band, old time music, full meals, tea room, machinery in arena, BASF draw.
* 12 noon: Prestigious Pedigreed Seed Sale for CHEO ($35,000 raised in the past 10 years). Featuring milk can painted with traditional farm scenes by Barb Lackey. Guest speaker: Ontario Agriculture Minister Brian Coburn.
* 1 pm: Annual Hereford Sale, Sprung, including this year several Maine-Anjou.
