NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING All Directors, Committee Members and General Membership are invited to attend the Ottawa Valley Seed Growers' Association Annual meeting, Wolfe Island, on Sunday, July 19, 2009. The meeting will be held at the Fire Hall, a short walk from the ferry dock towards the right on Hwy. 95. The meeting will begin at 11 a.m. John Posthumus and family will provide a BBQ immediately following the meeting (approximately 12:45) and then a tour of the wind-turbines has been arranged. The Ferry to Wolfe Island is at the foot of Princess St. in Kingston. From Kingston, ferries run every hour on the half hour i.e. 9:30, 10:30 etc. and take approximately 25 minutes to cross. The 10:30 ferry will get you there in time unless you wish to come earlier (coffee will be on). Spouses can relax on the island, there are a few small shops, or shop in Kingston and take a later ferry across in time for the BBQ. If the ferry is full, there is ample parking at the dock & you could just walk on the ferry. Please let Mary know by July 15 if you are coming in order for the Posthumus family to arrange for BBQ numbers. We look forward to seeing you on the 19th. |
